From warangal to the world. His parents had a proper Bollywood-level family drama (think: well-educated grandfather vs. small-town dreamer, his dad). Best decision ever—he was born a year later in a town you've never heard of.
He grew up with minimalism before it was trendy. His mom worked her magic, filling him with courage, ambition, and the belief he could do anything. He was an average kid, who watched cartoons and movies all day. As he aged, he realised that he could do more, with more effort. In 2012, he cracked IIT with an All India Rank 4,088 out of ~ half a mil. He worked very hard towards getting a rank of less than 500 but he was not even close. Not the smartest, but the most hardworking.
Fast forward: Computer Science degree, IIT Guwahati → Staff Engineer in Ireland → naturalized Irish citizen. His parent's, friends and family think this is a success story. He doesn't think so.
Plot twist: He's been an actor the whole time. Playing roles a responsible son, a dutiful brother, a dedicated student, a loyal friend, a responsible employee, a responsible citizen, a responsible human being. The theater since 2009. Drama club member. He's got two sides—the engineer who builds stuff and the artist who becomes someone else.
Moved to Ireland, got his master's at Trinity, paid off loans, then dove straight into Gaiety School of Acting and Bow Street. Been working the acting muscle ever since. He loves going to movies, atleast 1 a week. COVID sucked (no dark theaters = his nightmare). He also loves actors breakdown their characters and the stories they tell while on set.
The Knock is a short film written and edited by me that explores the lived experience of schizophrenia. The piece focuses on internal suffering, isolation, and perception, using subtle visual storytelling to convey the emotional and psychological weight of the condition.
I took part in the short film An Officer and a Gentleman, produced as part of the Intel Oskars initiative. Created during my time at Intel, the project aimed to raise funds for charity and brought together employees to tell meaningful stories through film.
At the Bow Street Graduation Showcase, I portrayed a complex and emotionally demanding character in Marriage Story. The performance was raw and intense, capturing the nuances of a fractured relationship and leaving the audience deeply engaged and moved.
